Q. Is the maze haunted?
A. No.

Q. Do you take credit cards?
A. Yes, we accept cash and credit cards.

Q. Do you have a pumpkin patch?
A. Yes, we do have a small pumpkin patch. We will post on Facebook and Instagram when the pumkin patch will be open and pumpkins will be available.

Q. Is there a bathroom?
A. Yes, there are porta johns available at the maze and the private picnic sites, along with free-standing wash stations.

Q. Can we go on a hayride?
A. Hayrides are offered on select days. Check Facebook for updates. Hayrides are $6.00 per persion. Children ages 4and under are FREE.

Q. What all can I do?
A. We offer a corn maze, hayrides, small pumpkin patch, and concessions. All offers are a la carte and independent of each other. None are required to do the other. Check the "Hours & Pricing" tab for more details.

Q. Do you sell refreshments?
A. We have bottled water, gatorade, and packaged snacks. We are also selling locally made Daugherty's apple cider, when in season.

Q. Do you have food trucks at your maze?
A. We have had food trucks come in the past. Check Facebook or Instagram for updates.

Q. Are you open when it is rainy?
A. That varies depending on corn maze and parking lot conditions. Please check Facebook or Instagram for the most current status.

Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Dogs that are well behaved, people & pet friendly and kept on a leash are welcome. Be sure to bring a clean-up bag so you can pick up after your dog.


Q. How many people can be in a group?
A. There is a minimum of 20 people.

Q. What if I do not meet the group minimum?
A. If you do not meet the 20 person minimum, you can pay the flat rate fee of $300.00.

Q. What all does a group booking include?
A. The group booking includes a reserved private picnic site for up to 2 hours. At the end of the 2 hours, the hayride will pick up anyone that wants to go on a scenic hayride around the farm and drop everyone off at the corn maze. If some people do not want to go on the hayride, they are welcome to walk down to the corn maze to meet the rest of their group. Once you are dropped off at the maze, you are welcome to take on some of the 4 challenges for this year's maze.

Q. How long does a group event last?
A. The group time at the private picnic site is 2 hours from your scheduled start time. Then the hay ride will pick you and take you to the corn maze. You will be able to go through the corn maze as many times as you would like during our hours of operation.

Q. Is there a bathroom?
A. Yes, there are porta johns with hand sanitizer available at the maze and the private picnic sites, along with free-standing wash stations.

Q. Is a deposit required to schedule a group event?
A. Yes we require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your date and time. The deposit will be applied to your group charge. Deposits can be made either by check or credit card. Deposits must be received within 3 days of booking to hold your spot.

Q. If the maze closes due to inclement weather, will our deposit be refunded?
A. If Gearhard Farms cancels due to safety concerns, the deposit will be refunded if your group cannot be rescheduled.

Q. What kind of food can I bring?
A. You can bring hot dogs, food for smores’, chips and drinks. Some groups have brought pizza, birthday cakes, fried chicken, and salads.

Q. Is there anything I can NOT bring?
A. Please remember, this is a family-oriented venue. Illegal substances and activities are prohibited.

Q. Do you have hot dog sticks?
A. Hot dog sticks are not provided.

Q. Do you have tablecloths?
A. No but you are welcome to bring your own. Each picnic site has 2 – 8 foot rectangular tables.

Q. Do I need to bring a chair?
A. Some bench seating is provided but we recommend bringing your own lawn chairs.

Q. Are the picnic sites cleaned and sanitized before we arrive?
A. Yes we clean and sanitize each picnic site before your arrival.

Q. Do you provide trash cans?
A. Yes, we provide both trash and recycling receptacles at each picnic site. Gearhard Farms will dispose of the trash and recycling after your group event.

Q. Is there electric or running water available at the picnic sites?
A. No, we are not able to offer either electric or running water at the picnic sites.
